| Blown Eggshells |
| The eggshells are blown with a single
small hole at one end. If the egg is symmetrical I do sometimes
blow the egg centrally along the side, so that it is suitable
for display horizontally. The shells are thoroughly washed
and then disinfected. |

Emu Eggshells |
 |
Emu eggshells are naturally
dark green and about 3” wide and 5” long. With
a matt surface, they are attractive displayed as natural
eggshells or decorated in various ways.
They are most unusual shells because there
are three different coloured layers to the shell. This means
designs can be carved into the shell revealing the blue/green
and white layers that are underneath the dark green outer
layer.
They can also be painted or decorated
in the Faberge style.
